Welcome to Blue Butterfly Escapes. Please review these legal terms. By visiting this site or utilizing Blue Butterfly Escapes services, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to be bound by the specific terms and conditions outlined herein.
1. Advisory Role and Partners (aka Vendors and Suppliers)
Blue Butterfly Escapes functions exclusively as an independent intermediary agent between you and third-party travel partners including airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and other travel service providers. All travel services are provided directly by these suppliers, and not by Blue Butterfly Escapes. We are not liable for any supplier defaults, changes in their terms, acts, errors, omissions, warranties, or negligence of any such suppliers or for any personal injuries, death, or property damage resulting therefrom.
2. Payment Policy and Fees
Blue Butterfly Escapes may charge a non-refundable planning or service fee to secure our advisory services and initiate the planning process. Additionally, deposits are required for reservations. All payments are non-refundable unless specified by the supplier. Settlement of final balances is due by the invoice date to prevent automatic booking cancellation and is subject to supplier cancellation penalties.
3. Modifications, Cancellations, and Insurance
Requests for changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing. Blue Butterfly Escapes may apply professional service fees, plus any vendor penalties, for changes. Clients are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment and financial risks due to supplier refund policies, delays, or insolvencies.
4. Travel Documents and Compliance
Travelers bear sole responsibility for obtaining valid passports, visas, and health certifications. Passports must remain valid for at least six months departure from the destination. Blue Butterfly Escapes is not liable for boarding denials or deportations resulting from insufficient documentation or failure to meet entry laws.
5. Liability Limitation Disclaimer
Blue Butterfly Escapes operates as an independent contractor and does not manage, own, or operate any transportation or lodging entities. Our liability is limited to the facilitation of the booking process. Blue Butterfly Escapes is not liable for injury, property loss, or damage during your trip; nor responsible for disturbances like weather, strikes, or civil unrest which fall outside our direct control; or any itinerary or port cancellations or changes. All travel is subject to the specific terms, conditions, and limitations of liability established by third-party suppliers. By booking, you release Blue Butterfly Escapes from liability for any issues caused by third-party vendors.
